From kitchen table to trade sale: Paul’s story

Think you need decades of industry experience to disrupt a sector? Paul Tanner proved the opposite.

In 2001, Paul started 90TEN from his partner’s kitchen table and, by his own admission, didn’t really know what "healthcare comms" was.

But being an outsider was his secret weapon.

Because he didn’t know the "rules," he:

  • took risks legacy agencies wouldn’t touch.

  • applied tech-industry speed to healthcare challenges.

  • focused on outcomes, not just processes.

The result? A highly awarded agency, a successful sale in 2020, and an exit in 2021.
